Our Mission & Core Value

Help macOS users use ClashX safely, transparently, and with control—not just download it.

Pain points we saw: newcomers fear bad subscription links; macOS upgrades (e.g., Sequoia) may break compatibility; menu bar tools are seen as “black boxes” or privacy risks; rules/TUN feel complex; long-running apps raise battery/perf concerns; developers need Git/terminal/CI connectivity. We provide auditable open-source builds, structured guides and troubleshooting, fully local YAML validation/rule generation, and clear boundaries on risk and compliance.

Our approach: (1) Official GitHub downloads and checksum steps to avoid tampered builds; (2) step-by-step visuals for dashboard/TUN/rules/subscriptions covering concepts, steps, and verification; (3) local-only tools to protect privacy; (4) performance/battery tips with measurable checks; (5) common error codes and log samples for self-diagnosis; (6) dev tips for Git/Homebrew/terminal/CI proxy; (7) curated rulesets and one-click add to reduce trial-and-error. We aim to shorten the distance from “it connects” to “I can safely run it long-term.”

  • Safe source: only links to GitHub official releases and checksum files, no third-party repacks.
  • Privacy minimalism: all tools and validators run in your browser, no config uploaded.
  • Verifiable: every guide includes background, steps, validation points, and further reading.
  • Compliance: highlight lawful use and target-site terms, with risks and disclaimers stated.
  • Continuous updates: change logs stay public and content follows new releases promptly.
