macOS Minimum Requirement
The v1.140.0 release notes state a minimum requirement of macOS 10.14. The upstream Xcode project sets MACOSX_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET to 10.14. The cited sources do not document tested compatibility for each macOS release.

How do I check my current ClashX version?
Click the ClashX icon in the menu bar, select "About ClashX", and you can see the exact version number in the pop-up window.
Can ClashX update automatically?
ClashX has a built-in "Check for Updates" feature. Usually, when a new version is released, the software will prompt you to update via a pop-up. You can also manually select "Check for Updates" in the menu.
Are configuration files compatible between new and old versions?
In most cases, they are completely compatible. The Clash configuration format (YAML) is very stable. However, if you are performing a major jump from a very old version, it is recommended to check if there have been significant syntax changes in the core.
Why can't my ClashX update?
This may be due to network connection issues or insufficient permissions. Please ensure your Mac can access GitHub. If the online update fails, it is recommended to go to the download page and manually download the latest .dmg installer for a clean overwrite installation.
